Alright, new spark, old one lost, same controller same tablet and I thought same app.  The OTG cable doesn't work and I checked the app and it now 4.2.14 not the 4.2.12 I installed to get the OTG to work the first time.  How did the app auto update??  And why isn't it working now??  Anyone know!  Thx  Bolton

Is your tablet Android or IOS?
Why did it auto update? - You may have auto update selected on the tablet -  app store/google play?
Why isn't it working? - DJI do not officially support OTG with Spark. There was a release note with 4.2.12 that may have claimed to support OTG.  I don't have a OTG capable device to compare, but I guess your success will vary, depending on the DJI Go 4 app version.

If you have an Android tablet, you can side-load 4.2.12 from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/dj ... o-4-4-2-12-release/
I don't know how or if you can side-load previous versions on an IOS device (iPad/iPhone).

Thx for the info.  I have no clue hwo it updated.  I running android.  Everything I read said 4.2.12 was the fix for the android OTG and spark.  And it sure was.  

I have Android 7.0 and DJI Go 4 app in version 4.2.14 and OTG works without any problem.

Mine was working fine too until I got the new bird!  now I don't know when I got updated to .14   I was only assuming it happened when I activated to the new one!

We are sorry to tell that OTG cable is still not recommended at this moment, please kindly connect the drone via WiFi connection.

It works on both 4.2.12 and 4.2.14 (I didn't test the 4.2.16 as it is not available from google play for me yet but I guess it will work as well) ... it's just not recommended and not oficially supported.

Once .14 got loaded, I couldn't use OTG!
