That's the first train I ever seen with Tube carriages pulled by a diesel engine!
My Grandfather was a Train engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad and my Uncle was also one.
My first job was as a welder for the Pullman Standard Car Mfg.  Co.
Your video brought back some nice memories.

Regarding the underground carriages. Two Americans were heard to say, "Oh look honey, they have an underground here." We don't of course, but it was amusing. They must have just arrived and had no idea how small the island is.

I liked being in the cab  bit as well.
The man at the controls was being trained. Pun intended, but still true. I didn't actually go in the cab, the chief did the filming as such. the camera was set to roll and it didn't stop till the end of the trip. What you saw was all I could use.

I needed a high shot as it entered the last station so I used  the shot of it returning, run the other way.
