A search show no threads on the Air Unit / external OcuSync VTX/Camera. I splurged on the "Racing Combo" in order to put the module on a DIY fixed wing platform. I thought I'd be able to update the firmware on it via DJI Assistant by only connecting the dipole antennas, supplying 9V power and connecting the USB. I found that wasn't the case. I needed to connect the camera module before I could update the firmware to the latest. Worked fine after I connected the camera, but before I did that, it would only update to about 52% before the VTX/air unit appeared to reboot and timeout the update.

Just thought I'd post for others in case they were doing the same.

The power draw was about .5A while updating, in case anyone was curious. That was from a bench power supply set to supply the 9V.
