At present I own a Phantom 3 SE but I'm not happy with the fact that you can't control aperture on those cameras.
So, I'm playing with the idea of buying an Inspire 1 . . . if the available cameras come with aperture control.
All the tests I've read so far concentrates on all kinds of features but aperture control seems to be one thing that has no interest,-at least judging from the reviews I've read.
Same thing on the DJI site,-it's not even mentioned.
I've been an amateur photographer for 40+ years, and believe me,-aperture control is the one feature you just can't live without.
Yes, I do have ND-filters but even ND-16 is not enough to prevent the video from becoming washed out in the highlights @25 fps.
And once this occurs no post processing is going to fix it.
So, my question is: -Do the available cameras for the Inspire 1 have aperture control?

yes the X5 and X5R have all controls you would find in a "real" camera, aperture, iso, shutter speed, etc. the X3 and Z3 however I think not, but I dont have either so I could be wrong. I also don't have any knowledfe of the infrared cameras.

Hi Emtor,

Either the X5 or the X5R on Inspire 1 will enable your control of aperture of any lens mounted on it through DJI GO App. For example, you will be able to select any aperture stop between wide open f=1.7 and 16, in 1/3 stop increments with the DJI 15mm kit lens.
