Dover is only 8 miles away, you can easily see the port of Dover from Folkestone so the sunsets are fairly similar.

Margate, broadstairs and places that side of Kent are better as the sun sets right over the sea there instead of being lost behind land.

The Skyfire app is very useful for sunsets too, it shoes a map and overlay of where the best ones will be. It is usually pretty accurate and you can get a free 30 day trial to test it out.
