I am new to the phantom drones and I have the fishing release mod on my P3 adv but I just can't get the lights to turn on/off just by using the remote.

The idea of this drone is to help with sea fishing and only to release my line (no camera attached) and I don't want a phone or tablet with me while fishing. Is there a way to get the lights to work without the app?

Not sure about the P3A, I have a P3P and can assign the C1 or C2 buttons on the RC to turn an/off front LED's

I can do that as well, but as soon as I disconnect my phone, or close the app the c1 and c2 lose the ability to do anything

Can you provide me the exact details on which light you would like to turn on and off?
