i'm just downgrading my MP to  Version 1.4.0100 via DJI assistant, I understand that I have to downgrade the RC also.

But how about the batteries?

Nope those are independent and the latest fw is recommended for best battery performance.

When i downgraded from 300 to 100 I was getting battery inconsistant firmware warnings so i opted to put in each battery and do a firmware refresh on 100 and no issues there after
