Hi, I just updated my dji go 4 app and now I have some noises from the gimbal and I can’t use my drone anymore, I can’t connect it. The aircraft version says version unknown and when I check for updates, nothing happens. What can I do ?

Hi, I do have a problem. I try to make the last update and everything just stopped at 99%. I tried to restart the process but now I have the some noise from the gimbel, also the gimbal go very hot. I can’t linked my remote controller to the drone ( I tried to linked by using this 3 buttons from remote and also from the dji go 4 app but without success ) I have some yellow light from the drone going on and the red light from the controller but when I tried to linked In, make a sound like a beep and that’s all, no blue light or something else.

So I can’t connect my drone, I can’t use it, the aircraft version says unknown. I don’t know what I can do.

I upgraded the firmware using dji Assistence 2 but when I try to calibrate the gimbal from my pc says all the time to reconnect the aircraft.

I suggest you do a refresh of the firmware in the drone to make sure the update is finished successfully. Make sure you remove the gimbal clamp before turning the drone on.
When that is finished successfully, relink the drone to the RC using the GO 4 app.
Then check to see if everything is working correctly.

I refresh an reinstall the firmware several times, I also tried to downgrade but without success. Also when I try to linked the drone from go 4 app says it’s already linked but the yellow light on the drone is still there, the red light on the controller is still there and also I can’t have access to the drone, is disconnected.

I refresh again the firmware by using the app but still the same problems. I have no idea what I can do more

What you are showing is the firmware in the RC. You need to refresh or update the firmware in the drone. The best way to do that is to connect your drone to your computer and use the Assistant 2 software. Are you able to do that?

I did it for the aircraft as well. I refresh the firmware from pc, I downgrade the version, I upgraded back and refresh again ... nothing changed.

Hi Marius, may I know what's the current aircraft firmware? Could you upload a short video of the gimbal noise and linking issue? We'd like to check the exact status and help you out.

Please try to connect with DJI Assistant 2 to refresh the aircraft firmware to see if there is any error message. If no success, please kindly export the upgrade log for analysis, thanks!

APP(IOS): Click the DJI logo on the left upper corner more than 10 times, you will see the log and copy it to us

Hi DJI Susan, my current firmware version is v01.05.0600. I was trying to downgrade the version to v01.05.0300 and v01.04.0602 and everything work good, without errors but the problem is still there. This is a video with the problem:

Sorry for the late response as I just read your post. Checked with our engineers, they suggested sending the unit in for diagnosis as this cannot be figured out remotely. You can start a case from here: https://www.dji.com/support

Did anyone get a solution for this. It is happening with our M210 as well
