  Good or Bad idea?

Personally I think it is a bad idea.  Other than getting a great shot nothing good can from from it, and is the shot worth the risk.

Great way to sum it up.

That is the most stupid thing any person could do. Idiots like this cause for more stricter drone regulations

Yea he should not be flying a drone to be honest.  Very irresponsible.

wow what a moron, thats crazy high and he was up there with 35% battery left!! unreal

I would not personally test it. violate the laws of many countries! And that leads to the tightening of laws and for those who respect them. I think a minor incident can generate a major law,

So far it looks like it is the consensus of everyone that it was  not in the best interest for someone to break the law and post it.

Not just stupid to do so also illegal to fly that high in many place.
