I have what I think are 2 separate issues that you will see in the video below.  I am assuming the black lines are from glare although I have shot video at the same time and angle with out that happening.   The twitching / jerking is also a relatively new problem as well.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing these issues and how to resolve them?

The black lines are a camera fault, best to contact DJI service and arrange for the aircraft to be repaired.

Are there filters that eliminate the lines?  Or do I have to refrain from shooting toward the sun when filming over water?

I'm hoping the camera / gimbal doesn't need replacing to correct the camera jerk.

The lines are an electronic fault in the camera, filters will not affect them one way or the other.

I sent it via UPS on Saturday.  UPS tracking says it will arrive Friday. Memorial day will have slowed it by a day.  If DJI has it 5-8 working days to diagnose.  By the time I get it back 3 weeks will have passed.  Is this the usual timeline for a repair?

When I had to send my P4P in it took 5 weeks (Germany).
For the waiting period I bought one through Amazon and returned it after 4 weeks.

Be prepared you don't get your drone back but a refurbished one. You never know before.
If you have the serial # of your current drone you'll know once the return drone arrives.

Wow, so if they replace my camera, I could be getting a used camera (and drone).....

Yes. You agree on this by sending it in. It says somewhere in the repair guidelines.
Lots of people are bumped out about it but there is nothing you can do.

If it is covered under warranty, ok.  If not, and I'm paying for a new camera, that's what I should get.

The Black Lines show over exposure in that area.  But seeing as its recorded in the Video it is a fault.

They non warranty replaced the 3 in 1 board.  I get it back on Friday.

My bill was 327 with labor included.  It didn’t take long once they received the drone.

So being that it was "out of warranty" on your repair did you get YOUR drone back? Just curious.

I got a refurbished drone.  When I registered it, there was a notice that said it had a 1 year warranty.

I mis-read your post initially. For some reason I read it as your drone was repaired out of warranty but they actually repaired it under warranty. I'm a bit nervous now if I have to send in my drone that I'll get a used one if it falls under warranty coverage. So far so good and hoping it stays that way.

Glad you'll be flying again soon.
