Has anyone tried this third Party Charger. It looks quite good, Charges in order but means that you don't have to keep plugging and unplugging your Batteries

I use the original charger for four batteries from the fly more combo set. Works well.

Hi Dennis, you are recommended to use the original charger from DJI. It is not recommended to use the third-party accessories, we are unable to ensure the compatibility and the performance. Thanks for your support!

I am sure you do particularly as it is so over priced

I was asking about any one who has tried the one in the link

The charger has electronics and software to control the charging process.
The price of the charger you provided in the link - 14.77, the price of the original charger - 47.91, the difference - 33.14. The price of the battery 71.74 x 4 = 286.96.
Is it worth risking any damage or shortening the battery life? You must answer this question yourself.
Best wishes.

I would have no issue with this charger. Looks well made. Has a voltage readout and you have green lights on the battery to tell you how much charge is in the cell.

BigPlumbs, don't you love it when you ask a question but don't get an answer?

When i read your post my first thought was, "why not use the standard one"  Then i remembered all of the times i've been irritated because someone decided that they knew what was best for me and pointed me in that direction.  So i decided not to go that route with you.

I would take @kevJones1959  and @orion71 comments as your answer.

I believe the charger will work.  But i do not know if it has the same intelligent sensors that the standard one has.  It's got to have something if it will sense which battery is highest in charge and charge it first.  It also has to have some intelligence because it knows once one is charged to move to the next.

DJI Diana has to tow the company line.  Not because it costs more, but because DJI made it.  It is certified by DJI to work for DJI products.  3rd party accessories do not go through the DJI process so DJI won't recommend them.   That is not to say that the products haven't been through rigorous tests.

I found this on Amazon:

DJI Charging Station
This one comes in at  £39.00
The one you posted comes in at £14.77

Bottom line (and answer to your question) :
No, i have not tried this.  I did buy the FMC, so i have the standard.
Yes, i would buy this and give it a shot.  Since it is 3rd party, i would test with one battery and watch to make sure it stops charging when battery is full.
As long as it does, i'd go all in with all 3/4 batteries.

sorry, i was probably rambling, but i hope that gives you the answer you are looking for

As ever that old Argument. The £33.14 is straight profit for DJI have you not sussed this sort of thing yet.

Perhaps this is why I asked the question.

Always try and answer the question asked I say not the one you think should have been asked. In my day in an exam you got 0/10 for that

I did not say you had to buy the original hub. I only expressed my opinion on the subject. I personally waste time and money on testing third party solutions as I have available a proven solution.

If you feel offended by my statement, I'm sorry.

By the way. I am not your student that you give me an assessment unless I ask for it.

Regards.

As I said always best to answer the question asked. If people did this rather than throw around opinions this forum would be far better

Still 0/10 I am afraid

I am sure you would be happier with red or yellow lights !!

basically if you accept to use batteries that have proprietary micro controllers then you better use a charger that can talk to the onboard BMS else all bets are off

OK. I have not tested and do not have this hab. In order to provide a reliable assessment of this device you will need to perform many charging cycles.

Now better?

I do not speak English on everyday basis. Maybe I did not understand the question well enough. You could show some understanding.
