BigPlumbs, don't you love it when you ask a question but don't get an answer?
When i read your post my first thought was, "why not use the standard one" Then i remembered all of the times i've been irritated because someone decided that they knew what was best for me and pointed me in that direction. So i decided not to go that route with you.
I would take @kevJones1959 and @orion71 comments as your answer.
I believe the charger will work. But i do not know if it has the same intelligent sensors that the standard one has. It's got to have something if it will sense which battery is highest in charge and charge it first. It also has to have some intelligence because it knows once one is charged to move to the next.
DJI Diana has to tow the company line. Not because it costs more, but because DJI made it. It is certified by DJI to work for DJI products. 3rd party accessories do not go through the DJI process so DJI won't recommend them. That is not to say that the products haven't been through rigorous tests.
I found this on Amazon:
DJI Charging Station
This one comes in at £39.00
The one you posted comes in at £14.77
Bottom line (and answer to your question) :
No, i have not tried this. I did buy the FMC, so i have the standard.
Yes, i would buy this and give it a shot. Since it is 3rd party, i would test with one battery and watch to make sure it stops charging when battery is full.
As long as it does, i'd go all in with all 3/4 batteries.
sorry, i was probably rambling, but i hope that gives you the answer you are looking for
