I was asked from my local paper to take some images of a firework display this weekend. The editor would like me to take up my vision + & try to get the fireworks with the midway of the carnaval in the background. Does any one have any idea what I should set the camera to? I figured the easiest way to do it is to shoot video & use that to make a screen grab. With video, should I shoot at 400iso & compensate 2+ stops? I am not really into video & not sure as settings for Video. If I was trying to do stills in the dark, that is what I would do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

V+ does not do well at night - I've been stupid and hovered above them going off, no chance on getting good shots . I've seen ok ones that are shot from a distance where the light the camera was getting was from somewhere else in the background

As someone else mentioned, the camera, pics and vids, are just terrible at night.

Believe it or not it was "one of" the videos that inspired me to recently purchase my P2V+ V3.0...
Although I've only taken it for a test flight no higher than 6' (basic check after firmware update and GPS Booster install), we're about to go into winter here in Australia and it was a pretty windy day, I'm chomping at the bit to get it out there and get some nice footage of my own

Hate to burst your bubble but P2V+ sucks at night I tried filming fireworks a few nights ago looked like crap

Well I did the job. It did not do too bad for the quality of the low light capabilities. It was just what my local paper was wanting

Great shots Larry - really impressed.  Love to see the bird being put to good use and all those who see these shots will probably understand what it's all about - Photography.
