my 4k files are always chopped at 9:22 and split into another
not a big deal, just wondering if I am set up improperly to record longer files?

Nothing is wrong. That is about right. The split comes from a limitation on how memory is addressed, the files can only be so big before it was to be split. (it was much smaller under the 32-bit regime.) They are getting pretty good about not dropping frames between the files too. (Not just a DJI issue, DSLRs work the same way.)

Most edit software recognizes that the clips are intended to be one long clip, so when you load the first one into the edit software, they show up as one continuous file automagically.
