I filmed this giant 1,000 year old tree in the Quinault Rainforest last week. It is an amazing experience to see this massive living thing in person! It's 191 feet tall and 17.7 feet in diameter.
Been there, and thats truly and awesome tree. You need a picture of someone next to it so they can see just how massive that tree really is. So many great places for shooting footage there, jealous!

Real nice one....the music reminds me of that vampire film. Twillight , that came out some years ago, they also climbed big trees, so great combo there..

Thank you! I never saw Twilight, but I know that the film was actually set in the nearby town of Forks!
Think that 1,5 minute is a quite long for one even the most incredible tree from nearly one perspective. You just rise and down without any observation. Next time let's try some more angles.

I would have liked to fly longer and get more angles, but it's a popular tourist spot and there's a campground nearby - I had only a brief window in which to fly while there was no one around.
