Hi,

I plan to buy an I2 & X5S (without licences...) and I would like to know how the DLOG profil works with X5S and H264 codec?
I've seen it was iso blocked at 500 (as it is with P4P) but it seems to be unlocked now?
I've also read earlier in 2018, a firwmare upgrade made the DLOG with I2 h264 working worse than Mavic DLOG :https://forum.dji.com/thread-128199-1-1.html


So,  could you give me more information about the current quality of DLOG & h264 I2 X5S please?

Currently dlog on the h264/5 files is been turned off on the I2. You only have cinelike and normal colour spaces. What most people have been doing since the X5 days is to set the colour space to normal and then set colour, contrast and sharpening to -3. It’s flattens the grade and works quite nicely for a bit of colour correction and grading in post, don’t forget to add a little bit of sharpening back too.

When you said DLOG is tuned off, do you mean DJI disable DLOG profil at the moment?

The latest firmware (V01.02.0100) supports D-LOG in H254/5 and works fine.

Can you confirm that the ISO is not blocked at 500 anymore when using DLOG?

No ISO can be set as normal.

can't wait to get my new I2

I have DLog working on my I2. It was terrible before the latest FW upgrade but now looks good. ISO is Not fixed at 500 on the I2 anymore .. though strangely it is on the P4P. My go to  I2 setup is  ipadmini4/MicroSD/X5s/h264/Dlog/minus 1 contrast & Saturation. minus 3 sharpness.

Mmm not showing here, what version of the app are you using as I’m on the same firmware with the I2.

I have it on the latest version of the iOS app
