Can you fly the Matrice 600 pro without a tablet or phone connected to the RC?

It is recommended to connect the mobile device to get the live video. Or there will be no flight records for analysis in case the unfortunate happens.

Thanks for the reply! I see what you are saying, but I am planning on using an onboard RaspberryPi which would be running the OSDK. I am not going to use a camera, as I'm more concerned with the GPS coords and telemetry. Wouldn't the RPI also be suitable to log the information when something inevitably goes wrong?

Sorry I have another question! So I am particularly concerned about the reliability of the connection between the mobile device and the m600.. if the mobile SDK was to be used instead of the onboard SDK, would I be able to heavily rely on the mobile device to stay connected?
