Was very surprised today when i received from Amazon UK a brand new Spark Battery  that was actually the old unmodified one with the shorter lock clips  !!
I thought these would of been well out of circulation by now  , all my other 3 are the  longer latch type .
Anyway i am returning it  and have just bought another from the dji store .  Hopefully that one will be correct .
Just a little heads up to say that they are still out there ....

It was from Amazon themselves.  No third party involved  

And the manufacture date of this battery?

No idea
As soon as I saw the small latches it was back in its box and returned .
I doubt they'd still be making those now .

lots of the short battery latch type about , beware i never fly without a battery clip , its not worth the risk.

I printed my battery clip in red , its also a very good visual aid when flying VLOS

Why would you be surprised, the UK is a pretty small market and Amazon buys in bulk. I wouldn't be in the least surprised if the older style batteries were still being shipped into next year!
