A fly about with my Mavic Pro using the RE Goggles.  Shot in 2K.  Love the green of spring.  At the 4:42 mark is the duck encounter, only 1 second long.  See the link below the video to the post with the pic.

Thanks, lucky birds of the air have way better sense and avoid systems than our drones.

Great Video.
I went frame by frame and caught a good shot of it at frame 4:33.
Could of caused a bit of damaged if you two would of collided.

Nice work. definitely to close for comfort. How do you like flying with the RE's? I think it's AWESOME.

I like flying close to things, gives a better sense of speed.  On some of the higher shots I often asked, "Is this thing stuck?  Doesn't look like I am moving." only to look at the horizontal speed readout showing 8.5m/s.  I love flying with the goggles even with the frustrating bugs in them.  Like why do they reset the Mavic Pro video mode from 2K to 1080P when they are connected.  As you know 1080P video on a MP is horrible.

Yes i agree, does at times does feel like your moving. What type of bug are you having and is it associated with the last firmware? I ask because I haven't updated.

I'm using the latest REG firmware.  As I said before I don't like how it changes the video mode of the MP.  I am super disappointed that the REG on board mircoSD card does not record video even though the sales ads state it records digital video.  I've tried using a Spark, Mavic Air, Mavic Pro and P4 via HDMI and none of them record to the microSD.  I also don't like that you have to disconnect the phone/iPad to use the goggles with a Spark or Mavic Air.  Without this connection if the drone crashes you have no map to find it.  For this reason I am not a fan of using the goggles with a Spark or Mavic Air.Are these bug? Maybe not but for sure bad programing.

Got it. I agree I'm disappointed that you can't record to the sd card in the goggles, unless recording 5.8  And I'm having a hard time viewing pano's. These aren't major things  but.

If you set your video link to 5.8 GHz does it record to the microSD?  What drone are you using?

That was close for sure, this time of year I don't know what is going on but birds are on a mission to get too close to drones. Swallows and swifts are swarming, thankfully the ducks on our river are too busy quacking and full of the joys of spring, minds on something else I guess.

Great video but I really liked the still shot of the ducks

All good. And the peaceful soundtrack gave a relaxed feel too.  Thanks for the share.

Yes. Seems to be the only way to utilize the sd card in the goggles.
