I have a brand new Mavic Air.  And here in Australia I cannot get it to fly further than 250-300m before the RTH activates.
Due to poor, weak signal.
This is nothing like the 1-2km advertised.

All updates I think are done.
Can anyone help - or do I need to return this item?

I've tried everywhere.  Suburbia.  In the park.  The open paddocks.  Even out over the ocean.  Same thing everytime.

Do a fcc force hack on your mavic air. Trust me i can go 2km no problem after that. (Trick the phones location thinking its in the USA)

Have you tried putting your phone into airplane mode also force shut all apps running in the background.
I’m also presuming your using stock cable that came with your MavAir.

Good day. I am sorry that you are not able to use your Mavic Air properly. Let us try to uninstall and reinstall the  DJI Go 4 application. Then let us relink the RC to the Drone and let us deactivate the beginner mode. After doing these steps let us try to make a test flight on your drone. Let us see if there will be a different result. Thank you.
