Bombay Beach-A portrait of a lost town

I was there for a pre-production check flight and just wanted to show the location.
Salton Sea is the biggest lake in California and no one can use it because  the sea was polluted with pesticides and saltier than the Pacific Ocean. Periodic flooding brought the poisoned water further ashore and people have deserted. There are no fish and the bird die if they drink the water. Bombay Beach is used for many photo and video shoots

Very interesting location.
Not the smoothest video I have seen, but I think that was not what you were aiming for

I found it a refreshing change. I even forgot to press the mute button before playing, so even the audio worked for me.

Different from the 'cinematic' ones you see most of the time.

In the couple of trips I've made to Palm Springs, I've never taken a moment to drive down there.  I really need to do that.  Great video!

The weather was perfect on this day, make sure its not to hot when you go.

  I shot that waiting for the meeting to start  and then on the way out i shot the drive-in.
I will be back there in July for the scene we are filming.
