I know I'v seen it somewhere, but seacchh of all the menu and submenus failed while powered up.

You're not looking hard enough.
First page, go to Advanced Settings and look again.

it can be called in powered up status too.

Tab the 3 points on the upper right corner and you ´ll find the setup menu

It took me a while a few times as well. This is a major important setting and it should be one of the first settings we see upon opening the menue, not that far down.
Or it could be under the category "Remote controller settings"...

I usually don't interfere with this setting. Once though I was flying between trees and set it to 'Hover'.
Then I forgot to switch it back. And my next flight was over water ;-)
