I would like to know if it is possible to use the RTK logs for doing the DG (direct georeferencing) of the images centers taken by the X4S camera?

No, the RTK data is only used for navigation - image exif data is from the standard GPS.

Thanks for the reply. But I wonder if it possible to use the RTK logs a posteriori for accurate georeferencing? It seems that we can use a survey grade GNSS in order to obtain the precise coordinates of the base station and introduce them with the DJI assistant to have an accurate georeferencing of the images centres. Is this correct?

As confirmed above by Farnk666, the RTK is for more precise navigation only. We use a PPK solution plug and play on M200 series for 50mm accurate geopositions. GeoCue Loki.

M210 RTK will write the GPS coordinate of RTK in the image Exif data, it will display 1 when RTK is working. If it is 0, it records GPS module info.

The original release of the DJI RTK solution didn't write the RTK data to the exif headers at all.
If it has been changed to do this, then that's a big difference in capability.

It is not survey accurate.

This specific solution suits the X4s. As the X5s is a rolling shutter it is not suitable for photogrammetry.
The Micasense is not a supported payload either. Having said this, we have built custom solution for users using DSLR and Micasense on M600 Pro - PPK.

I'm afraid not, RTK is used for precise flight and anti-magnetic interference, it is not recommended to be used for accurate geotagging.

It will not for M600, but for M210, it will record the GPS coordinate of RTK all the time.

So does the 210 RTK record positions relative to center pixel then?

A general point, DG (direct georeferencing) is not to be confused with RTK. DG is only achievable with a precise GNSS/IMU. RTK (in real survey terms, not DJI terms) is only half the solution, yes you can reduce your GCPs, but you still need to run high overlap. A system with DG capability can do 60/40 overlap.

Crystalsky uses the pilot app. iPad mini 4 can use the GS Pro 2.0 app.

Hi,

None of the pictures I take with my M210 RTK has the RtkFlag = 1, so the RTK information is lost in the pictures... I'm using it with Zenmuse X5S and Z30, DJI Go 4 and RTK is fixed. Am I losing something?
