Hi All!

I own several DJI products and I recently bought the Tello for a fun drone to fly around with. I played with it yesterday and noticed that the 2 axis camera seemed to be unstable, at least moreso than some youtube videos I've seen. Is there a setting to change that? Just curious. Thanks!

No winds yesterday and I uploaded a small clip to youtube.

I understand that, I just assumed the video would be slightly more stable. It does take decent images though.

There are two modes:

Slow  (Digital stabilization ON)

Fast   (Digital stabilization OFF)

Try switching between these modes till the video gets stabilized.

IMHO video is terrible and almost unusefull. But I knew that before bought.

BTW the pictures at good light are really decend, and they are very useful for a trip, since it is just a toy that flies with a good camera.

I have a spark too, but Tello can be at my back pack all the time, with no problem. The spark, I need to think a litlle bit more.

I believe next Tello generation can have an SD card, and that will really be good.

Some pictures with my Tello outdoor and indoor...

Cheers,

Hey, sincerely sorry to read on that. Could you please conduct IMU calibration as below? If it persists, please kindly contact us at support@ryzerobotics.con or via online chat at https://www.ryzerobotics.com/support.

*****Calibrate IMU****
1) Remove prop guards and propellers.
2) Power on Tello and connect Tello to your phone via WiFi.
3) Start Tello app, go to settings > more > calibrate IMU.
4) Please put it on the flat surface. You will have to put Tello in 6 different positions.

Many posts about these stabilizers, but not one for the smartphone iphone.  On this phone is an excellent camera that can make wonderful photos, and the stabilizer only complements it.  I've been looking for such a thing for about a month to take pictures with my friends.  For example, at a picnic, or on a lake, then you can show the beauty around.  And I found an excellent option for myself and for my phone http://bestrobotsguide.com/best-smartphone-stabilizers.
