Thanks for the heads up. Does this only work for X7, which apparently has the potential of detaching itself while in flight?

Pretty sure it is for all of the I2 Gimbals. Must have been a problem, for them to come up with this. There is aYoutube video for it. The reason I posted it was mainly that that the DJI shipping is the same as the part.

This also available from DJI. The kit attaches to the gimbal mount which would prevent this from leaving the Inspire 2, if the rubber isolators were to fail. The X7 camera is the heaviest and would at more risk, however this will work for all the cameras. All cameras would be safe    

I guess you could look at this as a safety cable for the gimbal mount.

DJI is where I originally found it but it would not ship for a couple of weeks at the time. The killer is with DJI the kit is $15.oo and the shipping is $15.oo. I put a stock alert in at B&H and they now have it and I ordered it from them for $15.oo and $3.50 shipping.

The YouTube recording I found for this product begins with the announcement, "To avoid the Zenmuse X7 gimbal coming off due to an aged or loose gimbal dampers it is recommended that you mount the Inspire 2 gimbal protection set to the gimbal vibration absorbing board."

DJI does not distinguish between the two in the data sheet. I'll have mine any time now. I am using the X5s and if there is an issue I will let you know.
