A friend of mine dropped his P4 into a river filming spawning salmon. We recovered it and saved it with rice and heat ut the video has areas, minor area were there are some dead pixels. Does anyone know of how this can be fixed in Final Cut X? In photoshop id just use the clone tool but that would be a lot of frame.s Is there a pug in that anyone may know about?

Sorry to hear about the crash. It is not recommended to fly the watered drone anymore. Flight safety is the top priority. For your question, all of the pictures and videos are saved in your SD card on your aircraft. Just to confirm you were able to retrieve the videos from SD card, however, there were dead pixels on it. If yes, Final cut X does not have the capability to fix it. You may want to retrieve those videos from DJI Go 4 app, however, it is not as good quality as from SD card. The video was shot later before we knew there was a problem. It was some footage of a Thai temple that we need the footage for. Other than that he just likes to fly the thing. My friend has put a lot of hours and meters on the bird since it swam. It just shows how good the P4 is.

I think your only option if you are using the image from the sd card will be to use the clone tool.
Im not aware of a plug in that can look at an over all image and know what should be in that spot unless it had a good quality reference to copy from, which would negate the need to repair the original.
You could overlay the image onto itself and offset by 1 pixel this will reduce quality slightly but would be quiker if you have lots of single pixels missing over the image
