My Phantom 4 will not link to controller.
With the assistent2 try to update firmware, when its try to update its failing.
The phantom shows dat current firmware is  V00.00.0000.
Who knowes a solution???

Hi, We apologize for the inconvenience. Please follow these instructions for your remote controller.

1. Turn on the remote controller - leave the aircraft off
2. Press and hold C1. C2, and the record button until you hear a beep and do not let go.
3. Press the wheel on the right side of the remote controller and do not let go of any button.
4. While holding the buttons turn OFF the remote controller
5. While holding the buttons turn ON the remote controller
6. Now update the remote controller.

For the aircraft, if you're unable to update the firmware using DJI Assistant 2 please try to use a different USB cable or a different computer.

hello, problem to maintain.
drone will not accept firmware, no firmware on drone.
I have tried three different computer and usb kabel.

Sorry for the trouble. I just want to confirm, are you trying to update the aircraft or just the remote controller? When you connect your aircraft to your computer and launch the DJI Assistant 2, what does showing up on the screen? Can you please share with us the screenshot?  You may want to watch this video tutorial:

Is your RC switched off during the aircraft update ? (it should be off)

Do you have other computer that you can use? Also, have you tried restarting the aircraft prior to firmware update? If you can also, uninstall and reinstall the DJI Assistant 2 and re-do the process. Let me know the result.

I have try :
Three different pc, win7, vista, win10.
Restart bevor updata.
Reinstall assistent.
Reinstall dji drivers.
Firewal ant virus scanner off.
Nothing seems to work.
The airunit has no firmware and don't expectprogrammes, ist like that there a bad hard drive and it will not expect read or write from the firmware.
Witch part can be defective and can I replace?

Not sure if it same issue, but two of my RC controllers were made 'useless' in last update because of compatibility issues, DJI replaced them both but my business damages can't be replaced.
If they announced these sort of issues they could save their clients a lot of time and money.
I lost 20-30 hours trying to resolve before deadline and missed it.  
In all that effort I did hear one option that may help....
Supposedly older versions of DJIGO will install the proper firmware for RC- that's not a fact but a path to check out..

NOTE TO DJI: a little communication and forethought would go a long way, making your users alfa and beta testers with no way back is just bad business!
Make all versions available online with a test software and or a downgrade path, like most drone companies and these issues will be reduced!!
I say this because 6 of 7 DJI purchases have been damaged and replaced due to firmware issues..that's sad numbers..for otherwise great craft!
Can't wait to give someone else my cash!!

not sure was a month ago, but they claimed/knew exactly what was going on, but still made me spend hours bumping the issue up management. It's not a new issue or unheard of quite a few topics around.

Update on the problem,
I removed the interne micro sd and formatted it, now it's connecting again!
Now the go pro app works and the air unit is updated!
Now a new problem it won't get a GPS signal!
How can I fix this problem with GPS?
Anyone who has the same experience?
