My brother and I last flew our spark last september but had to ground it until he got a new phone.  


When we were still flying he was unable to fly it anywhere else except at our house.  We haven't flown with an OTG cable yet.  Would this allow us to fly anywhere else?  Obviously it's possible, how else could anyone get film from anywhere.  


We wanna get it flying again before we leave for camp on friday because we would like to bring it along.

Please calibrate the IMU of the Spark as well so that you will be able to use your Spark Properly. May I know what is the model of the mobile device that you will be using?

Yes you can use the Spark Drone for outside. You live in the US so just apply for a Hobbyist Registration.
