Does anybody tested it yet?

I have update to V 4.2.1, (IOS), but can't test today, rainy and tommorw I go to France and will see if I get some faulty things.

DJI GO 4.2.21 just became available for IOS today.
DJI GO 4.2.20 is the current Android version.  Just released on 6/11/18

I have not tested it yet.

Hello, I'm from Brazil, I'm going to do this update, because my mavic pro did not run on version 4.2.2.20. He disconnected all the time. I hope this corrects the error.

Another one already. I haven't updated to 4.2.20 yet.

yeah, that was kinda quick for an upgrade.  Makes me wonder...

Just updated the 4.2.20 yesterday and now will update the new one today. Hoping it is a fix for the C1/C2 problem.

I am still on 4.1.22 and works brilliant with mpp. However also owing p4p and after 4.1.15 update , the videolag became worse and worse. Therefore i am not planning to update after hearing about constantly new bugs after each update. I am not sure what is going on in the dji app department. I think dji engineers should be thinking about creating an app for each drone series or even each drone type as this app is getting to weak for all the drones

I think that is a great idea. It is amazing how a professional UAV pilot with a £20,000+ Inspire 2 X7 or Matrice 200 series set up uses the same app as a Spark!

Yes.  Amazing.

Just saw the update hit my iOS devices and had them update, but VERY UPSET that DJI is so lazy that not only did they not specify WHAT bugs were fixed in 4.2.20, but they literally copied and pasted the same change log into 4.2.21!!!

For an app that governs all their drones, from the lowly Spark up to the Inspire and Matrice line, I would EXPECT and DEMAND, if I owned one of these pro-class drones, to know EXACTLY what has been fixed and/or changed, as it could impact my professional work!

DJI, do you not know how to communicate at ALL? Seems you've dropped the ball BIG TIME, and are NOT inspiring ANY confidence in your customers with this blatant disregard for adequate communications with them!

From what I know, the GO 4 app is outsourced to a third-party developer, and you're right, it's been getting worse with each update, and their communications with consumers about what they're actually doing with each "update" is non-existent, and basically a slap in the face to all those experiencing growing issues with the app.

They need to bring their app development in-house, and get some better people into their communications department and actually starting informing us what the hell it is they're doing to make things better, and listing out ALL the changes / fixes they publish in this app!

Just tested one battery and from what I can tell same as 4.2.20.  It did NOT fix the C1/C2/Function button not working after POI for IOS for MP and MA.  I have tested this.  Also screen sometimes choppy (same as before) when recording POI but only POI but SD Card footage not choppy.  So I cannot tell any difference from 4.2.16/4.2.20 to 4.2.21.  Will do some more testing later on of the other intelligent flight modes.  

Someone, did you see if the unplugging problem fixed?

I agree with you, here in Brazil this APP is very bad for both IOS and ANDROID.

This is the benefit of keeping a device that isn't connected to fly with.  My device will only know when i connect to sync flight records.  I may update to .20 for Android, but it will be after the weekend.

I am starting to wonder if anyone from dji is reading these reviews as if there is an new update and still the old bugs havent been fixed, like the c1/c2 button drama, then it feels like no one from dji is paying attention. So mr and mrs dji , before developing a new drone , maybe you first should a) read the reviews and listening to the users b) developing a bugs free app. Because i thought safety comes first and we all and also your drones are depending on a good and 100 , sorry 200 pct working app

unfortunately problem still persists, its better because during POI you are able to control camera up and down and you are able to recenter camera using C button of course if gimbal recenter is assigned to C button, but if I recenter camera during POI then I'm not able to move camera up or down, pausing the POI mode unlocking camera movement - this is really strange.
Of course exiting from POI mode still locking C button and in my case restart DJI GO4 helps, but this should not works like that.
Maybe in the next release DJI will premamently fix that issue.

Yes I have Mavic Air and just updated today  GO4 to  4.2.21 and yes my C button was frozen after exiting POI mode.
My mobile device is iPhone 7 Plus

Thanks very much for confirming that. I've already updated but didn't test the POI error so your feedback saves me from having to reinstall the whole app as I won't touch POI now. Most appreciated

So tested a few batteries and for me all seems same as before.  So no new bugs that I have found.  Flying/videos/photo taking all good and smooth.  Still the same issue with POI mode with choppy screen and also C1/C1 buttons not working afterwards.  Tested Active track and had EV all the way from -2 to +2 and was still able to track me wearing a white shirt on a white sidewalk on a bright day.  So active track seemed stable for the 5 minutes I tested it.  Also made a pano(180) and it looked good.  Shot various footage and a few stills and all looked good.  So I have not noticed any difference.

Not all dji drones use dji go4, a lot of professional users use dji pilot app when flying commercially.

Updated iOS earlier. Not had chance to test it. Anybody know if this update will prompt firmware update to Mavic Pro?

I was hoping the issue with the C1/C2 buttons were fixed.
I am with A CW and won't try the POI until some one confirms it is fixed.
Thanks for letting us know the problem is still is a problem.

I was prompted to update the fly-safe database for my Mavic Pro.

Other than that my Mavic Pro is at the latest builds. Yet to flight test latest DJI Go 4.

Updated on my Galaxy note 2 and now won't run :-(  Anyway to back a step?

I just will test it today No big hopes, totally avoiding C1/C2 and I would expect no major issues

Managed to downgrade the note 2 to 4.1.16 so now works, direct download from DJI for latest on IOs.

A question, apologies if already answered somewhere, where are the intelligent flight modes controlled from?  Is it the AC, the controller or the APP on Mavic Pro.  i.e. Dronie, is it all controlled from the App via the RC and is the recognition all done by the App and then passed to the AC?  Just interested to know really.

Hopefully the weather will let me fly today, since it is Father's Day. My MP was my Father's Day gift to me last year. It has been fun flying it ever since.

Is there any news about 4.2.21 for Android? IOS version was released a week ago... 

I had to roll back from 4.2.20 to 4.2.16 to solve the problem of screen pixelation and lag.

4.2.16 appears to be the most recent stable version still. The past 2 months have been nothing but disappointment. First the crazy unpredictable 0.400 firmware and nothing done for months, and this series of 'updated' app versions with ambiguous 'bug fixes' and 'improvements'.
