Quick (and maybe dumb) question...is there any way to connect to and fiddle with the Mavic Pro (or Platinum) settings WITHOUT using the battery? I hate draining precious battery life while fumbling through the settings and trying different things. I'd rather use that battery time for flying! Would be great if you can power it via a USB cord or some other way.

To my knowledge there is no way to adjust settings without powering on the Mavic Pro with the accompanying battery. The Micro USB port cannot connect to the computer without the associated battery being powered on to adjust settings. Hope this helps.

Hi, Thank you for raising this concern. Unfortunately, you really need the battery. Can you tell me what settings are you trying to change on the app?

Without the Mavic connected to DJI GO, you'll only be able to configure the few settings that are stored on your mobile device.
