That’s great, nice distance test! I get those red warning bars on the HD and the RC icons when I’m just 3 city blocks away. It’s so densely populated here, and everyone has WiFi and cameras and wireless everything. I get warnings as soon as I power up in the driveway.

CE is jus for Europe if I am not wrong

Whenever I read these enthusiastic reports about record distances achieved with drones, I'm puzzled. Why some people are so excited about flying 6 miles far for no reason whatsoever and coming back home successfully? Why Manhattan-ers are so disappointed that they can fly a block or two away only ?

I think it's just part of human diversity. Some people have the drive to go for the extreme.
If it's in sport or war or drone flying. Other people are happy whithout doing so.

Oh, I sort of knew the answer, but you nailed it! For the same reason some people will suffer extreme conditions of mountain climbing, although there may be a reward: a spectacular view to cherish at the top, a smile on Sherpa carrier face after payment. That I can understand ... to a degree ...

Its called pushing it to the max and trying to get more from it

The part i do not understand is why i can only get 4877m in FCC, yet some say that can get 6km in CE, i am sure i have a dud

CE has been adopted my most countries way beyond EU. FCC is pretty much USA only and a couple of other nations.
But I'm not quite sure. Was looking for a world map that shows it but can't find it.

Please, would you mind sharing the settings. I mean do you use 2.4Ghz or 5.8 GHz, or the dual, or the custom or a  fixed channel. Thanks in advance.
