Ive been flying my Mavic with my S7 Samsung phone for over two years with hardly any problems. Samsung had an update yesterday and now my video feed bad now, blurry, jerky, and broken up. Anyone else with this issue? Is worked fine a few days before the update.

I have an S7 and also experienced video lag issues? I'm not sure where it's coming from, either from Samsung or DJI GO 4 Application but it has rendered my drones impossible to fly. Hope something happens where a fix is applied, otherwise it's a no go for flying.

It is most likely Samsung software update from 2018-06-12.
See it's depending on my S7. Have not installed it.

Reinstalled app and refreshed the firmwate and it seemed to help. Still a little glitchy but much better and usable video now. Thanks!

You are not alone. It's not a Samsung only issue and has nothing to do with Oreo, Nougat etc. People that have had devices in spec that their mfg never gave the updates now have had continuous problems with the Go4 app crashing "aircraft disconnect" and bad video transmission feed.

If you downgrade the app to 4.2.14 or 4.2.16 it works for 95% of the hundreds of flyers with this problem on Android devices.

This issue has affected hundreds of users here, at Mavic Pilot forum, Facebook Groups, and countless others posting this exact problem on the Google Play store reviews since version 4.2.20 of Go4.

Now there are others, as well as mine with Mini4's reporting choppy video feed on iOS.

So far my Note 8 has worked well enough, after updates, with no changes to that device. Note 8 is a very powerful device though. More cpu power and ram than most tablets or other phones.

This problem is very broad and reaching. You can for now get around it if you downgrade the App to 4.2.16 or earlier.

That link doesn't work, says it's been moved. I'm running DJI Go4 v4.2.21.

There is a known problem with DJI Go 4 version 4.2.20 for Android.

Hi android users,

I have a OnePlus3 and a Xiaomi MiMax2 ; both on OREO and both devices works great.
Mayby beacuse this models use android almost as android was built, little skin on top of android.
Samsung (had phones and have a tablet) uses a'large' skin around the basic android, mayby that`s why Samsung devices have more problems with the DJI app ?

I was finally able to get the link to work on my computer, then transferred the file over to my phone, had to uninstalled DJI Go4 .21 and then reinstalled 4.2.16. Took the drone out to test fly just now and video works great. Thanks for the help! I just have to keep it from updating to a new version.
