Was the Zipper on my cheap 25$ Amazon MP case.  Yes after opening and closing so many times the zipper is about done.  I am being serious here how reliable my refurbished Mavic Pro has been for me.  I have flown this MP in so many conditions in so many different ways.  In fact my favorite low noise 8331 props I have more than 800 miles on them and they still look brand new.  I really cannot believe how amazing and reliable this MP has been for me.  Has given me so many hours and miles of nothing but reliable fun.  I did just purchase another case for my MP as I figure the zipper to completely go anyday now.  I would hate to have to use the original MP box I still have for my case

Thats good news mate. I have the MPP ...its awesome and also my trusty old P3A just just keeps going. If I only have to put up with a stuffed zipper every now and again to get that mileage I'd be happy too..

I agree, SparksBird.
I have my MP since April 6th 2017 - It was the very first day it started selling here in Israel. From that day it's been nothing but fun!
I have taken it on more trips than I can remember. I bought 2 extra batteries in addition to the 3 in the combo, so the fun can last longer.
My mileage doesn't show in my profile because I use DJI GO only for IMU and gimbal calibrations (I'm using my own app since the days of my P3A), but I've flown it far and high.
This little guy is absolutely the best drone and It's always ready for some fun.
BTW, the DJI bag that came with the combo is also holding up pretty nicely.

May I ask if you ever had weird behaviour? I flew two days ago and found my MPP a bit unresponsive. Also the camera froze in midflight and a restart of the aircraft fixed it.

That's great!  I don't have near the miles and air time you have but so far my MPP has worked great and I haven't had a single problem yet.  I haven't even had to calibrate the compass or IMU out of the box.  It's a great piece of tech.

Sorry to see the case had it's last unzip

Never got the soft zipper case. My MP came with a hard case(zipper free) .Had the MP since 6/23/2017 and the only really problems was a one time gimbal reset and now the C1/C2 problem.
I count my self very lucky when you see what others have had to deal with.

Yeah I think I need a good hard case.  Got any ideas or a good hard case(no zipper) that can hold 3 batteries at least?

Very good to hear and agree these are great fun.  Yeah did not get the combo so had to get a case.  I figure though that using the zipper probably close to 400 times that will do a number on the zipper as I found out.

Yeah cannot get enough of flying lol.  What case did you have with your MPP?  I figure as many times that I use a zipper for the case that it is bound to break like I saw so want a good case where will not have that issue.  Got another cheap one but figure same thing will happen after a while.

Wow that is a ton of miles there.  Good stuff and yeah mine rarely gets a break when I am flying as well.  I check the temp after each flight to ensure not hot though.

I bet next time you buy a drone you will take the combo.
When I bought my Phantom 3 I had one battery. By the time I was moving on to the MP I had 4 Phantom Batteries, a backpack, an additional charger and more...
When I went to buy the MP I knew I needed to get started the right way and the combo was a good deal.

Nice to see alot of people having lots of flying time spend with their MP(P). Do you guys use a clamp to hold the gimbal? Or just the cover over it?

I re-install the gimbal clamp after each flight. It bothers me when the gimbal is flopping about

Always put the gimbal clamp on. If you carry it around without the clamp, the gimbal or the rubber bands holding it to the body will break.I know it's a hassle, I don't like it either, but do it and do it carefully.

Ive had mine 12 months and its "used" but fine.  The issues ive had:-

Ive broken 3 of the protective plastic dome covers so far (the lugs snap off all the time).
The zip on the front compartment of the flymore bag has snapped (i crammed too much stuff in it).
2 out of my 3 batteries have noticeably swollen (roughly 63 charges on each).

And thats pretty much it, a few scrapes and insect smears on the casing.  I changed the props last week to new ones for no other reason than i thought after a year i should change them regardless of any damage and props are cheap.
The drone has its own "personality".  Like a lot of them, the one side of the image is really soft around the edge so needs to be cropped quite often and it has gimbal or yaw drift in the air but you get used to those issues.
Most of its flying is in extremely hot and humid tropical environments, around rainforest or very close to and over salt water and its handled it nicely.

And i always use the gimbal clamp, its the last thing to remove before powering up and the first thing fitted after powering down even if i am flying immediately again.
