New to the third app scene is DJI GO mod  missions. (create, save , load and fly waypoints missions. https://play.google.com/store/ap ... ij.mission&hl=en_US

Just test a small mission created on my phone with this new android app. It works flawless on Spark and my Mavic pro.The only thing you need is a modded DJIgo4 app: for spark is 4.1.15 and for Mavic is 4.1.22.
Be smart if you going to use it.

How it works: create a waypoint mission, save it.
Launch your DJIgo4 app , go to flightmodes and select waypointmissions. You see your waypoint mission in your list. select it and fly.

Ok.  This is one of my thick moments,so please help me understand.

Is this an add-on to the current  DJI Go 4 App, or is this a modded version of the dji Go4 app?

Have I seriously missed an entire screen of options in the DJI Go 4 App?  

This is an addon for a  moddified djigo4 app 4.1.15 for Spark or 4.1.22 for mavic pro
Real waypoint missions for DJI Spark and other dji quadrocopters. DJI go mod is used (see link in app).
You can plan your quadcopter route offline and run this route in DJI go mod. Set points, altitude and direction (gimbal tilt not supported).
You can manage the list of flights - add new, delete or edit. All this is synchronized with the program DJ GO mod.
It also supports automatic creation of grids for 2D and 3D terrain photography.
It is also possible to automatically divide the missions into parts. This can be useful if the entire mission is running out of battery.
You can create and edit missions from your computer. Just go to https://mission.3d-log.com

Works super, thanks to the maker!!!  I build one on my pc and one on my phone. I import it from pc to my phone.
Go to the field, switch to waypoints flight mode and click on saved missions, I see both. click on one and waypoints loaded to Spark and starts to fly.
Pause button works, and switch to sport mode cancelled the whole mission.
When coming to the last waypoint Spark goes to normal fly mode.
Also when I shot down my rc, simulated RC connection lost. Spark rth.

Is it my understanding that I have to be running 4.1.22 for mavic pro to be able to use this program?  Previous versions will not support this program.  Is that correct?

Only the mod version of 4.1.22 for Mavic.(deejayeye-moddeR)

This is very good app, I had testing yesterday, all work well. In future if new version can auto focus and camera action automatically that is Great.

How can I register in DJI GO MOD MISSIONS ?, I have sent a donation, but will not let me register or enter the web, and I can not import or export the realizations made with the Phone, thanks

you don't have to make a donation(nice for the programmaker) or register just open app en make your mission, save it.
Now start you DJI go 4 mod app, go to waypoints flightmode , you see your mission there.

Too bad that 4.2.24 that was more stable wasn't used for the base app.
Also caught that warning in the Play Store reviews that read:

"Download link on website infected phone"

I tried to just visit the website, and it demanded you to login with Google creditials just to view the site.  No thanks.
Proceed with caution!

Because on the website you need to login to sync your saved missions to your mobil device, you can make missions there also.

My understanding is that Waypoint Missions are now part of Mavic II and 4.3 Go 4 app.
