Yesterday i was flying in a 20 miles per hour wind and got a "strong wind" warning on my screen. My question is could my bird flip over and if so, if it is high enough could it just regain its original(normal) flying position ?  

Unless you're in a tornado or something, it won't flip over.  Good luck.

The P4 can deal with real strong winds. 6 Bft no problem.
Even if it would get flipped by a mean gust it would stabilize itself right afterwards.
Just make sure you are not flying too far downwind. You might have a problem getting it back :-)

Phantoms don't flip.
If the wind is strong enough (faster than the Phantom can fly), it can blow the drone away though.
