With P3S it was hard to get right light.

On this time of year the sun don't set here.
It just hit us back in winter when we don't see the sun for few months.

I keep telling my wife that I'm going to take her there so she can see sun ALL the time.
But then we have to come home before it gets dark for months.

yes here also where I live up in the north. Today is the longest day of them all actually.

Yes was not expecting the PM camera to handle it so well.
Would bee surprised if MA camera don't handle it even better.
Was using 100 ISO and had to go to 1/800 shutter speed.

Just don't forget to take two things with you.
Clear sky and no wind for few days.
That is sometimes missing.

Very difficult with filters, maybe early in the day, but no filter high shutter, and fast SD card, camera movement can cause many problems .
Sometimes you can take up to 50 shots to get one good one, always take in raw.

Taking in RAW is something that I learned from beginning in photography.  I also learned the 'take 100 to get 1' factor.  especially with digital, where there is no loss.

I have just never gotten into filters.  I didn't understand.  (still don't really)  I'm just ordered a set of ND filters to see what happens.  That's the only way for me to really understand and learn.

I believe filters are not needed in photography maybe some spleialists photographs like we see with freewell 1000 ND filters for blur effect. They are pretty useful when flying in bright light for use with video, but only if there is going to be motion in your video or your looking for cinematic type of footage.
