Hi,

I'm having trouble getting my firmware updated on my RC for my P4P. At the moment they still 'talk' to each other (can control the drone - take off, steer, land etc) but there's no live video feed on the GO App and it shows that my drone is still at the last place I flew it.

I've tried using DJI Assistant 2 which installed firmware for on the drone but for some reason doesn't recognise the RC. The following is a screenshot of that:


I've also tried 'Long pressing' the button on the top right corner of the GO app. This appears:

I've tried resetting the RC using the L1+L2 button combo nation and that hasn't worked either.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

You can't use the assistant for updating RC firmware.
If there is an RC update the Go4 app will notify you.
What you can try is resetting/downgrading the firmware of the RC:

I've tried that method before. My second picture is what comes up. I'm unable to select any previous firmware or refresh it.

You need to have an internet connection on the tablet.
What version of the DJI GO 4 app are you using?

I'm using my iPhone 7 plus (Mobile Data switched on plus I'm doing it at home so there's Wifi) and I'm running Version 4.2.21 of DJI GO 4.

All good now. For some reason when I uninstalled the app and re-installed it again it just worked again
