Hey all!

Just got the Mavic Air new and lovin' it! Just a quick question - is it normal to experience image transmission issues at around 200 meters?
I'm losing image signal in different locations, the screen goes black. iPhone 6 and cheapo Huawei both have this same issue.

Plus, DJI Go 4 app for Android is horrible, kept freezing and crashing. Might be due to full storage?
For iPhone works nicely.

Check the transmission channel graph for noise (lots of red spikes).  Then manually select a channel that is distant from the red spikes.

I would also recommend looking to see if you can use the previous version of DJI Go4.  4.2.16
I have been using this version with success.  I've read several people having problems with the 4.2.20 and 4.2.21 versions.

Hi, We apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please send a screenshot of the image? What is the firmware version and DJI Go 4 app version you are using?

If you are outside USA, change to FCC mode.  CE mode has much weaker singal.

if you are not in US, check the post above and try to switch to FCC. The video feed should be more stable afterwards.

About the DJI GO app on android, I've had no issues with it so far. If your phone has no free storage it might be because of that, since it stores the flight logs and whatnot, so in theory it might crash or lag.

Or it could be that your phone is not officialy supported, therefore the app might not work as expected.

Thanks guys, I used the cheapo Huawei to turn Mavic Air into FCC mode (11 channels instead of 13) and switched back to iPhone, got 400m range this time and then started to lose signal. That's good enough for me.

The GO4 Android app works well on androids with octa-core CPU. My iPhone 6s lags like hell.
