I'm having issues when I go to set an active track target that I end up triggering the on screen focus rather than a draggable box.  Any advise? Turning off the focus doesn't seem like a good alternative.

Try tapping on the object to be tracked, instead of drawing a box. It will detect the boundaries of the object and draw a box automatically.
