i have 2 P4 Pros.   1 of them came equipped with the type of Remote that DOES NOT have the built in screen.   Another DOES have the built in screen.

I also have bought an extra remote WITH built in screen

Question:   Will the Built in screen remote sync properly with the P4 that originally came without a screen?

Yes they do. Note that you stay within P4P v.1 series though. The remotes are not interchangeable with the P4P v.2

not sure.   Wasnt the Pro PLUS the version that first came with the integrated screen?

If not, how can i figure it out?   Sorry to be dumb on this...but I guess thats what community help is for :-)

Thank you for that information. I checked the compatibility of both remote controllers. The RC that includes the display and the RC without the display for the Phantom 4 Pro. Yes, you may use the RC that includes the display to control the Phantom 4 Pro.

so to be clear my phantom 4 PRO is compatible with a integrated screen remote.   Even if the aircraft isnt a Phantom 4 PLUS?

It is a little unclear what you want as you have both the P4 and the P4P.
If it is the P4 you want to use with a Pro/Pro+ controller you have to enter the settings and change model type to P4, if it is another P4P there should be nothing else to do than link them.
Notice that if you have an old FW version on the controller it might not be P4 compatible until it has been updated.

Edit: Just to clearify, there is no P4P+ aircraft, only P4P's with regular or + controllers.

As KedDK mentioned, the main difference between P4P and P4P Plus is the built-in screen. If both are P4P(not the P4P V2.0), the RCs are compatibility and all you need do is linking RC. See if this tutorial video helps.

You need to go into the Go 4 app and somewhere in the settings you need to change the RC type. I don't think it does it automatically.

Somewhere would be the Advanced Settings in the Remote icon.
I couldn't remember myself when posted above but it is shown in the last picture at this post from msinger.
