hi guys,
I hope this doesn’t sound condescending but the wires and connectors are not special, they are connectors used in everyday electronics that can be bought at places like RS components or mouser.
there are also local electronics repair people who for some beer tokens would do a fix. with these commercial drones I feel we need to be a bit more clued up in respect of getting yourself out of the poo, by this I mean either carry every spare there is, not practical really or acquire some further knowledge as to where repairs can be done. when I don’t have the skill I find someone who has and either learn it or use them which is how I became less reliant on DJI for support and took the rains myself. we have the internet, forums and a brain to think so why let them go dormant. Being prepared is part of the commercial pilots remit, if the drone is not working we are not getting the job done. Hope that did not offend or state the obvious.
Hi ricci2,
I like your idea. I have been trying mouser to find a right pin head so that I may repair it myself. However, as DJI is not giving us data sheet of the cable, I am finding it difficult to get right pin heads. they are so tiny.
