I was flying over my house and river, when I notices a slide upstream from me. So I flew 3 30 minute sortes over it, and was blown away on how bad it was. Made a video, and turn it in to Washington state Forest Service, which is federal property its on. So as I did some research on area. And they classified it in 2016 as a Alphine fan slide. So I also made aware to are county about the problem. Of coarse they played games. So I got are whole comunity to a stink about it. That did it. We got goverment flunkies coming up in July to look. That’s part of it. But the logging road is gone. I think it was a poorly designed road, with no covert to channel water. Also the area has mostly glacier deposits of sand and light rock. Now we get 95-100 inches a rain a year.
