What are the main reasons that people buy tello? Please say from you own experience...

Just for fun! Nice to fly indoor and outdoor but not with big wind. For image quality it is pretty good you can take some simple selfie and some easy aerial shot. And if you wanna to teach your child to fly drone it's the best one. For such a cheap price you will impressed with the tiny beast.

it said at around 100 meter but it depend on the environment (tree, building ,wall) but you can extend the range with wifi repeater( I recommend to use  MI wifi repeater as it is cheap) some more question ?

Just ordered one yesterday. Reasons? 1) wanted something under 250g, 2) I like to play around with programming (and my 8yr old is getting into Scratch), 3) wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but still with good tech 4) wanted a decent camera -although from reviews I've seen, stills are much better quality than video.

Yep, I like the whole DJI point system....

From now on, I´ll take Tello + 2 add batteries + Mi WiFi repeater + portable USB power bank to all my trips.

In Japan if the drone weighs more than 200g and you are flying in a NFZ then you need to apply. NFZs are mostly near larger towns and or airports.

NFZ = No Fly Zone
Normally  close to airports or military installations.  With larger crafts the NFZs are built in and will not allow you to fly if you are in one.  There are also Restricted Fly Zones.  those will not stop you from flying, but you do need to call the affected airports/helipads to notify them of your flight.

What  3-D said. In Japan you cannot fly in densely populated areas as well. 4K people per square mile. That is the toughest part to deal with but not an issue with the Tello.

Its Small, Costs only Few Bucks and Really Fun to fly ! Why NOT ?!?!?

If you love flying drones have outdoor drones already and want to practice and fly in the house. Other reason would be to buy this is a way to see if you want to get into hobby.
