If  I did that, I would have never seen my drone again....that is some crazy flying.

Incredible launch and recovery! Those are some pretty "salty" weather conditions for flying. Have to wonder now, what is the condition of the drone and the electronics after having been flown in that rain and salt spray.

Yes, the quad will definitely not live for so long. Whether it's salt water or fly "goodbye" that's gonna kill it I do not know.   

But a drone now and then is just a small draw on the advertising account for such a boat. Maybe they have a small stock below deck ?

You have made a good point. The value of the drone is negligible relative to the value of the "boat". A possible pawn (drone) sacrifice for the greater good of advertising and promotion.

Cool ...now there are no excuses for not flying due to bad weather !! fly like you stole it and fly safe
