This is my second drone video that I've put together (the first can be found below) and decided to focus more on the editing side of things. The footage is from the South/North Carolina Apalachian Mountains. Let me know what you all think.

Did you encounter any division of forestry personnel? I always take mine when traveling the brp around granfather mountain but have yet had the guts to launch it due to being on National forest land.

National Forests are ok to fly.  National Parks not.
Unless otherwise posted I think.

Thanks for the heads up. The Blue Ridge Parkway is part of the National Park Service, so I guess as long as I  don’t launch directly off the parkway overlooks,I’m good.

Yea, technically it's not allowed. We actually ran into someone who got caught. Luckily, they just got a warning. I had no idea that whole area was considered a part of the National Park Service.

Great video..

What's the framerate of those slow mo clips?

It's all at 24 fps. The individual clips are slowed down anywhere from 25-75%. To make up for it, theres a setting in Premiere to create artificial frames. It does a pretty good job for the most part. There are some things it struggles with, but it works well enough. Going forward, I think I'm going to use 27 fps. It slows the video down just enough to make it look "dreamy", while also keeping it smooth.

Thanks mate.

I watched some videos that you may scale down to 24 fps then slow the video down to 80% speed to make it smooth like a butter.

Use the AirMap app to see where the borders of the National Parks are.
You can use Google Maps too to see the park areas.
