Hello

Recently for the first time when I flew my Mavic Pro Platinum, I encountered a long delay (DJI Go 4 App “circular shutter button” on my I PhoneX was just circling and circling after I took a photo) in between each photo taking during flight. At the same time, I was unable to take video either (while the shutter button was circling).

I have since cleared all cache in the DJI Go 4 App and also my SD card.

Any thoughts? Thanks

Restart the app and check your ISO

Thanks for your kind suggestion. I didn’t recall of adjusting the ISO during my flight but it may have been changed if the control button could be bumped easily. May I know which ISO setting could affect this slowing?

did you set to HDR? Perhaps by mistake. That takes time to process.

Check the speed of your SD card, faster cards perform better.

That is a good card and should work.

Typically this delay is caused by the read/write speed of the micro SD card within the drone. Pano's and HDR's take longer than a standard still. Using a more powerful card with faster speeds (like a SanDisk Extreme Pro A1, V30) should be fine.

Thank you Andy for your kind info. Is there significant difference between my card with the C10 spec above with the A1 that you referred to? Good to know before I purchase another one. Bought mine at the airport duty free because it has drone logo on it.

C10 will work but the V30 will give typically faster speeds. Mine is 100MB/s read and 95MB/s write - it's the write speed you need to check on yours. If it's around 60-80 then it will take longer to complete the photo. So best to check the specs before buying another one.

Thanks much Andy; apologize the information I provided above was from the sales receipt. I went to retrieve the card and took picture below and am happy to find out it’s the same as you suggested.

That's exactly what I use. So it's not the card - unless the one you have is faulty or dare I say it a fake - there are a number out there.

Thanks Andy and All, I was flying tonight and no more issue. I may have touched some buttons accidentally last time. Thanks

You know what is interesting is after the firmware update the other day to .400 I was doing some testing changing the sharpness, contrast, and saturation between each shot.  Noticed a delay like what you experienced after each setting change.  However if not changing the settings between the shots then the shot was much faster like it should be.  So perhaps you were changing the settings and this is why you were seeing the delay for the time being.

Thank you SparksBird for your kind sharing. There was a high possibility I unintentionally changed some setting.
