Okey
. On the 28 of dec 2017 , my DJI PHANTOM 4 lose signal because of High velocity.

I press  The RETURN HOME button on the app and also on the remote...


Panic


Since the wind is to strong and The velocity was high and very strong .... my Drone flys away 5,2 km in to the Swedish wilderness / forrest and its alot of snow. THE SNOW IS UP TO 1 METER DEEP !!!


I try to follow the Drone in my DJI GO  app and realize its far away from me... the flight record , show me... exakt where the Drone is...


BUT ITS TO MUTCH SNOW.... WE CANT FIND IT :-(

Maj 2018 , i drive up north for 2 hours from Stockholm , to malingsbo in Dalarna / Sweden


I follow the flight records from DJI GO app... and I find my Drone

Holy cow!  5 months exposed to the elements and she survived.  What all did you have to do to it to get it flying again?

To find it working , after beeing outside in minus 20 celsius for days and rain and wind ,,,, I am so blessed

Wondering, was there any video being recorded when your Phantom flew away?

What was on the sd card when yo pu finally brought her home?

I would be interested to see what ever you have. ;-)

Another part of the puzzle, would be to look at the flight LOG, from that uneventful day.
