I like to stay humble and not act like a know-it-all.

Agreed, I'm pretty sure it's a scam but not 100% absolute sure.
Hence the question mark. :-)

Yes, i've seen the same garbage on facebook.  It is obviously a scam, and i'm trying to warn everyone that I can.  It is not the real DJI Mavic Air.  If you receive a drone at all, it will be a knock-off of the real thing.
The biggest clue is that you have a choice of camera quality!!  The real thing has a 4K camera that you can adjust downward in settings.
and yeah, that video footage is stolen from YouTube.

When I was looking to buy my Mavic Air a few weeks ago I came across this, only it was $99 then. I immediately started googling if anyone had purchased from this site, and found no info. After some checking in their own website, they have some very "poorly written English" and very little information about their shop. I dedided NOT to save $800 and ended up buying the Fly More Combo on Ebay, from a reputable seller. E.

Hi,

YES is a SCAM!

The Company name is: ZG TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED and searching about it HOP we got into Paypal Forum: https://www.paypal-community.com ... IMITED/td-p/1497476

So, what they does is:

- No send nothing to costumers, there is costumers that waited more than 6 months and NOTHING received.
OR
- Send a ridiculous TOY of 10/20€
OR
- Send this TOY and ask the costumers to send it back (coz error) and the Shipments cost is 100€ or more! So a lot of costumers won't do it ^^

And it sames that they send too a BAD shipment number...

They use Shopify services, with Paypal services... i think thay both of companies are informed about the SCAM.

So be careful buying TOYS thinking about receive a MAVIC LOL

What you have to do:

1. Don't buy them and REPORT the Facebook Ads as FRAUDE. Maybe post too on you Facebook... that it's a Scam to alert your friends...
2. If you bought them: Contact your bank or Paypal to block the transaction. In Paypal you can do a Reclamation and then Paypal will block your Money in the Company's account until you confirm that you've received the good product (and you won't).

Fly en buy safe.

I have lost count on Facebook how many times I have clicked on the report as a scam / misleading but they still keep appearing.

And of course they are not just using videos of DJI models but another drone manufacturers as well.

This video talks about a DJI scam offer incase the other one upsets DJI

There is first time buyers like myself with tiny budget and no previous knowledge of the matter. Those also might not know how to fight back after getting scammed. Past 90 days they're screwed.

It is a scam, since Citicards says I can purchase without anxiety, I did.  I got a email instantly that simply said im buying the mavic air and the email kind of looked like it was from stockholm.  Of course nothing came in 3 months and i made a claim with Citicards.  They contacted the entity that was receiving the money after the took the $80 USD back and the entity said they sell vacuums to others over seas, and that's it. So citi has charged me back by stating they can't tell if its fraud.

They did not ask for additional details or anything, I called Citi and they said they would send an email and Snail mail requesting extra info.  That never happened and over a week now.  Now I am on the phone again with Citi as they said, it is in the "security" department and not the "fraud" department, as the security department doesn't have respresentatives to talk with via call in, I am on hold for a long time while the fraud specialist tries to find someone, although not available and requested to call me back in an hour, so here I wait and have expended lots of time and anxiety to get the $80 credit.

Almost sounds like Citi has lost enough money to scams like these as internet advertisers and quick charging without merchandise delivered is the culture, I hope citi figures out doing this to its customers is just as bad as "purchasing without anxiety"...
