Can someone guide me to set up my mini to store all the videos and pics I take. Seems like some store when you shoot pics and others are still on the Mavic. I also sometimes have to power up Mavic, controller and Mini to see videos.

Is there a setting somewhere that when I video or shoot pics they go directly to my Mini and I don't have to remove the card out of the Mavic?

No. There is no such setting.

The footage from the live feed is stored in video cache files within the editor section of the GO4 app providing you have video cache enabled. However, the video quality will be much worse (HD) than taken directly from the sd card. Always best to import the files from the micro sd and edit from there.
