Hi

In need of some desperate help!!!

During a flight the screen on the controller went black. I managed to get the Phantom 4 pro obsidian back (thank fully)

Now the screen is totally black on the controller. It will connect to the phantom and all the white lights are on just a black screen. Can anyone please help.

Hi its not a mobile device its the built in screen on the controller.

The controller is fully charged, you can turn it on and it links with the Phantom 4 pro so it has a green light and all the white lights are lit. The screen is just black, if you touch the screen nothing happens.

You have a pro Plus?  Built in screen.  Screen odds are has either over heated or died out right.  Hopefully it's still under warranty?  Should be a quick turn around.

One of the wild shots, check the power save button on top right of the display, not sure what would happen if it got stuck in pressed position somehow.
Also you could try to black out the light sensor located in the lower left border of the display, when set to adjust the light automatic if have had issues where it actually darken the display in bright conditions where it should brighten it. Also try the opposite, light the sensor up with a bright flashlight or like.

Cheers guys. I have arranged for it to go back to DJI for repair as nothing works. I did do a test flight with it not working and it does record etc still but the screen is no use and cant do without it as we use it for our projects on site and need to fly further than we can see so its going back. Hopefully DJI will sort quickly as we are desperate for it.

Might have to buy another one to cover us for the period without.
