First Test at different focal lenghts at high speeds.

Was image stabilization on? Looks great, but the tracking shots have a subtle surging to them.

GH5 OIS was on yes. Do you think it should be off?

i dont know what you mean by surge. When there is no subject to track it gets a bit hard to test hopefully tomorrow i can get a rider behind another boat and actually stay locked on something... when just looking at trees your body starts to move with them and they are stationary.

Looks great to me,just seems like aperature varied in some clips as some footage was lighter than others.Did you use a prime lens?

Nope. I am using a 14-140 Panasonic Lens F3.5-5.6

So that is probably why. When we film chase boat i usually leave it at a certain focal lenght per rider / trick. But as there was no subject I was just getting a feel for the gimbal.
